Responsibilities:
  • Load product into machine
  • Jog, align and visually inspect product
  • Make minor mechanical adjustments
  • Load and off-load product to cart
  • Utilize computer to document production and create move ticket
Essential Functions:
  • Lift 6 lbs. steadily
  • Stand, stoop, kneel and/or crouch frequently
  • Strong hand eye coordination
  • Ability to climb 21 stairs a minimum of 3-5 times per day
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills

Autism in the Workplace Seminar Coming to Oneonta!

The following Seminar is coming to Oneonta!


Autism in the Workplace:
Legal Practical and Human Implications

Otsego-Delaware JSEC, Springbrook and CDO Workforce BEAM are sponsoring this seminar on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 9:00am-12:00pm (Registration at 8:30am).
The seminar will be held at Springbrook, 5588 State Highway 7, Oneonta, NY 13820.

Jeffrey Tamburo, Training & Content Development Associate at Cornell University's Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability.
Dot Marinaccio, Regional Business Relations Coordinator at ACCES-VR
Traci Lanner, Director of the Tom Golisano Center for Autism at Springbrook.

Topics Discussed:
  • Autism and ways that people with Autism might be impacted at work
  • Successful people with Autism (including strategies they use)
  • Title I of the ADA-Overview
  • Title I of the ADA- Reasonable accommodation/ interactive process
  • Importance of soft skills/ development of soft skills/ assisting-supporting with self-advocacy at work
  • Possible accommodations for people with Autism
  • Case scenarios and best practices focused on job search and work place situations.

Stumped by the financial aid process? This workshop is geared towards prospective students and parents who are facing the challenge of applying for financial aid. Learn how to navigate the process from figuring out how much college will cost, applying for federal and state aid, reviewing and comparing award letters, to accepting awards and preparing to pay back borrowed money.


CDO Workforce will be having the Funding Your Education workshop beginning on 9/14/16 from 2:00pm-3:00pm. BEAM Outreach Coordinator Heather Schaap will be conducting the workshop.
